Dialogue
My father and mother’s conversation
Mother: Why are you late?
Father: I chanced upon my friend after work. We were catching up and discussing old times and we lost track of time and by the time we knew it, it was already 7. He was flying off tomorrow so we decided to have dinner and chat a while longer.
Mother: What? You had dinner? You could have at least called right?
Father: Sorry. It totally slipped my mind.
Mother: What shall I do with all these food? It would be such a waste of money to throw them away. I was cooking all afternoon for nothing.
Father: I didn’t know you were cooking such a wide spread today.
Mother: Why do you eat out so often? It’s not very good for your health.
Father: But I don’t eat out everyday. It wont affect your health if you eat once in a while.
Mother: You eat out most of the time!
Father: No, I don’t!
Mother: Anyway, what do I do with the food?
Father: Just reheat it, I’ll eat again.
Mother: You want to eat again?
Father: Yes.
Mother: It’s bad for digestion to eat and sleep immediately.
Father: Why don’t I give to the elderly couple living above?
Mother: Ok
